| | I am curious why many standards see this as a fault? Could someone elaborate why? Seems odd to me, because I get that horror movie dog that is black with these crazy yellow eyes lol. Would be pretty intimidating. | ||||

| I have corsi and got into a debate with people over this once since yellow bird of prey eyes are considered a fault in the standard despite the fact that yellow eyes were pretty common with the proto-corsi. Besides the usual show BS of worshipping the almighty standard, some tried to argue that yellow eyes were less sun resistant than darker eyes. I didn't really accept that explanation either. I have blue eyes and seem to function just fine. Not to mention all the Artic breeds with light eyes that work in environments where humans get snow blindness. Anyway, that's what I've come across. | |||||

| Owner & Head Trainer @ Chimera Kennels | As long as pigment is there, who cares what color an eye is? No albino...that's all I care about with our dogs. If they are dark, orange, yellow, or blue...who cares. Not me. Other things are more important in MY OPINION. | ||||
